Britain would not support US use of force against Iran, British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said Thursday.‏ Speaking to the BBC, Straw said "Not only is that inconceivable, but I ‏‏think the prospect of it happening is inconceivable".‏ The international community was committed to resolving the situation "constructively", the British Foreign Secretary added. ‏"I don't see any circumstances in which military action would be justified ‏against Iran," he conveyed.

‏

"I don't think, please God, that we are going to see in the next four years the most cataclysmic event for international relations that we have seen ‏‏in 60 years which occurred on 11 September 2001", he said.‏

‏Straw said that George W Bush's re-election as US President was a "moment of opportunity" for European countries. (albawaba.com)
