African Footballers Union (UAF) awarded Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika the "Golden Charter" trophy on Tuesday September 5. Liberte Algeria reports that Bouteflika was given the "Golden Charter" by Issa Hayatau, the president of the African Football Confederation. The Golden Charter is given to personalities, who contribute to the development of football in Africa. In the award ceremony, Bouteflika also received a statuette from International Professional Football Federation (FIF-PRO).
