Bahrain and Jordan on Saturday signed a number of key agreements aimed at boosting business, economic and tourism links, at the end of a joint committee meeting in Manama, reported the Gulf Daily News.
Bahrain’s Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and his Jordanian counterpart, Ali Abu Ragheb, chaired their respective delegations at the third joint Bahrain-Jordan Higher Committee meeting and hailed the accords.
They expressed pleasure at the development of cooperation between Bahrain and Jordan and at the formation of a joint committee for businessmen from both countries, said the paper.
An agreement on economic cooperation, free trade, international land transport and customs legislature cooperation was signed by Bahrain’s Finance and National Economy Minister Abdulla Saif, and Jordanian Transport Minister Nader Al Dahabi.
A separate agreement on tourism cooperation was signed by Information Minister Nabeel Al Hamer and Jordanian Tourism and Archaeology Minister Talib Al Rifai – Albawaba.com
