Aspidex Establishes Middle East Headquarters in DIC

Aspidex Technologies, an application service provider (ASP) focused on e-banking application services, has announced the opening of its Middle East headquarters in the Dubai Internet City (DIC). 

Founded by the private equity investment group, Rasmala, Aspidex provides turnkey e-finance solutions and business consultancy to both banks and financial institutions throughout the region, according to a firm press release.  

Izzat Dajani, CEO of Aspidex, said in the statement that “the growing use of the internet and increasing focus on deregulation policies in the financial sector, reliable e-banking solutions is becoming a top priority throughout the Middle East.” 

Dajani was quoted as saying that “out of the top 100 banks in the Middle East, only 18 have online transactional capabilities now, and the region's financial industry needs to have advanced Internet banking solutions to retain competitive advantage.” 

In order to provide advanced e-banking solutions to the Middle East’s financial sector, Aspidex Technologies has entered an exclusive relationship and equity partnership with Corillian International, a global provider of e-finance enabling software, to offer Corillian’s Voyager ASP internet banking platform – Albawaba.com
