Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, currently confined to his Ramallah headquarters in the West Bank, sent a message of condolences to Chinese President Jiang Zemin on the death of two Chinese people in a suicide bombing last week, Beijing radio said Tuesday.
Two of the casualties in last Friday’s suicide bombing in Jerusalem were Chinese workers.
The Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade, the military wing of Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat's Fatah faction, claimed responsibility for the attack. (Albawaba.com)
