ARAB CONFERENCES COMPANY TO SET NEW STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE FOR THE INDUSTRY IN THE KINGDOM

At a press conference held at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, HH Prince Abdulaziz, Deputy Secretary General for Investment and Marketing of the Supreme Commission for Tourism and Dr. Ghassan Al-Suleiman, Chairman of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, launched Arab Conferences Company (ARC), a dynamic new conferences organizer in the Kingdom, announced Eng. Loay Hisham Nazer, Chairman of Arab Conferences Company.

ARC specializes in the planning, organization, and management of conferences in Saudi Arabia with a mission to become a leading conferences organizer. Comprised of a highly talented, passionate and creative indigenous workforce that instinctively understands the local market and its sensitivities, ARC promises to offer its clients deep insight into methods to synergize conferences in the region by providing full service capabilities.

HH Prince Abdulaziz bin Fahad bin Abdullah unveiled the corporate identity in a multimedia presentation whose support stems from the need to establish innovative companies that truly aim at educating local talent and nurturing the regional market which falls directly inline with the Supreme Commission for Tourism's strategy to develop the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (M.I.C.E.) sector in the Kingdom.

Eng. Loay Nazer introduced the company by stating, "The creation of ARC stemmed out from a need to have a specialized conference organizer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to match the increasing demand for professional

conferences.  Preliminary projections indicate that the Company turnover will be more than SR 100 million within the next five years achieving a growth rate of 100% in the 2nd year and an average growth rate of 25-30% per annum subsequently."

Nazer added, "We are very proud and delighted to offer a company that will set the standards for conferences in the Kingdom. There is an imperative need for this line of specialized service and we are confident that ARC will be able to fulfill all market needs and demands."

ARC's 2005/2006 Conference themes were also presented and include a series of stimulating topics in public relations, education, female affairs, business,  marketing and social affairs.

Most notably, the first conference, PR Forum 2005, is scheduled for mid-November under the theme of "Activation and Interaction". The two-day meet is expected to draw more than 300 practitioners including leading public relations experts, academicians and specialists in the industry. The conference will address key issues regarding the role of public relations in the business and corporate world while highlighting the fact that the practice of public relations is now playing a vital and leading role in various Government and private sector companies. PR Forum 2005 aims to develop the practice of

public relations and create further awareness of its importance and the challenges it faces vis-à-vis globalization.
