Algerian Minister Visits Oman

Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, received at his office Sunday Dr. Amma’ar Sakhri, Algerian Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister and head of the Algerian delegation visiting the Sultanate, according to Oman News Agency (ONA).  

 

The meeting reviewed the bilateral ties between the two countries as well as means of enriching those relations especially in the areas of higher education and scientific research. The two sides also discussed different Arab and international current issues of mutual interest. 

 

The Algerian Minister said he was pleased to visit the Sultanate and appreciated the comprehensive renaissance witnessed by the Sultanate under the leadership of Sultan Qaboos bin Said.  

 

In addition, the guest praised the outcome of his discussions with senior officials at the Ministry of Higher Education. The meeting was attended by Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh al Manthri, Higher Education Minister and Algerian ambassador to the Sultanate. (Albawaba.com)
