ALBAWABA - Hamas' armed branch, Al-Qassam Brigades, published video on Friday that showed an explosive device in northwest Gaza detonating, targeting an Israeli military vehicle.
Al-Qassam militants are seen in the video getting ready and setting a "Shawaz 3" explosive device along the route of an expected Israeli military maneuver close to the northwest Gaza neighborhood of Al-Khuzandar. When the bomb is set off, a second Israeli vehicle that had arrived at the site is struck by an Israeli engineering vehicle that is seen towing another wrecked military vehicle.
Al-Qassam Brigades have been uploading video of assaults on Israeli personnel and vehicles in several fighting zones since the start of Israel's ground war on October 27, 2023. The tapes that were made public shed light on a number of actions carried out against Israeli forces.
In the current fighting, hundreds of Israeli military vehicles have been damaged or destroyed, and the video also reveals a pattern of successful ambushes set up by Al-Qassam that have apparently caused considerable deaths.
