Abu Dhabi Men’s College Hosts Meeting on “Online Learning”

Abu Dhabi Men's College (ADMC) hosted a Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting for their Electronics and Software Engineering Program staff. The meeting was held in order to update the participants on new initiatives taken by the College this year, regarding online learning, with a focus on developing independent learning habits in its students. Furthermore, all the Men’s College students are expected to have laptops by next September.  

 

According to Khaleej Times, Dr. Senthil Nathan, Head of Engineering Programs, updated the PAC. He discussed new initiatives taken by the Men’s College throughout the year, regarding online learning. Later on, the PAC discussed the effectiveness of such programs.  

 

The meeting was chaired by Nizar Luqman, Training & Career Development Team Leader of Zadco, and attended by Fadi Ali Darwish, CEO of ITQAN-Al Bawardi Computers, Mustafa Abdulla Al Musawa, Head of Automation and IT Division at the Abu Dhabi Municipality and Town Planning, Salem Alattas, Manager of Process Automation & Information Technology Department at Gasco, and Hussain Abu Romman, Head of Information Systems, Adma-Opco. 

 

Alattas mentioned that such online courses could facilitate developing skills of employees working at remote locations and offshore. (Albawaba.com)
