Abu Dhabi Golf Championship Falcon Terrace Hospitality Packages Go On Sale

Corporate hospitality packages for the 2007 Abu Dhabi Golf Championship – the biggest sporting event in the UAE capital taking place from January 18-21 – have gone on sale.

The packages, for tables of 10 in the elegant surroundings of the exclusive Falcon Terrace on the lower terrace of the iconic Abu Dhabi Golf Club clubhouse, give guests a fabulous view of the course and the star-studded field of some of the world’s biggest golfing names.

At Dhs 40,000 a table across all 4 Championship days, the packages will include continental breakfast, lunch, tea and complimentary beverages, official souvenir programmes, car park passes and daily drawsheets.

The 2007 Abu Dhabi Golf Championship is fully sanctioned by The European Tour and carries a US $2 million prize fund. Some 120 professionals will vie for the tournament’s signature falcon trophy with this year’s champion Chris DiMarco, one of the USA’s top 10 golfers defending his title. Other big name stars already committed to the championship include: Scotland’s Ryder Cup star Colin Montgomerie; the Spanish No: 1 Sergio Garcia; and, competing for the first time in Abu Dhabi, the South African No: 1 and World No: 5 Retief Goosen who recently led the Rest of the World team to victory in the inaugural Goodwill Trophy.

The Abu Dhabi Golf Championship 2007 will begin with the Al-Masaood Pro-Am on Wednesday, January 17, when sponsors and their guests have the chance to play and socialise with some of the world’s best professionals.
