The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) plans to finance a Sudanese dam project, reported the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Monday.
The $1.8 billion Merowe dam project will be set up on the Nile River, 350 km north of Khartoum.
Other Arab financiers include the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, the Saudi Fund for Development and the Kuwait Fund for Development, the agency added – Albawaba.com
