Nine reknown french companies in the field of Oil and Gas will be present at the 12th edition of ADIPEC exhibition scheduled from 5-8th November 2006 at Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Centre.
The companies will display their updated technologies and innovations in oil and gas sector to reinforce professional contacts and provide new business opportunities between France and the U.A.E. in particular and the Middle East region in general.
The french pavilion, awarded “Best Country Pavilion” at the 11th exhibition in 2004, is once again organized by UBIFRANCE, the French Agency for International Business Development and will consist of nine companies:
Bacou-Dalloz: world leading manufacturer of personal equipment for workplace or any hazardous environment (gloves, technical clothing and protective footwear).
Chauvin Arnoux group: a leader in the measurement sector. It proposes a set of products resulting from three areas of professional expertise with three different french companies: Pyro-Contrôle , Enerdis and Chauvin Arnoux test & measurement.
Chromalox group:manufactures trace-heating cables for process pipe work temperature maintenance and anti-frost protection of water pipes.
Converteam : an engineering and manufacturing company providing customized solutions and systems converting electrical energy into productive performance.
Gaston Mille: manufacturer of safety footwear in France since 1912 to meet the needs of the growing industry, in respect to safety norms as well as quality and comfort of the user.
Genoyer : a global piping equipment solutions, including products, services and logistics, for major international oil, gas and hydraulic projects.
Hytorc bolting technology : the solution for all controlled tightening and instantaneous untightening of all bolts assemblies with a whole range of tools, accessories and services which benefit from a worldwide recognition since 1968 by real maintenance professionals.
Kermel: a leading european manufacturer of aramid fibres for protective clothing against heat and flame for fire fighters, military and industrial users .
Nexans : world leader in the cable industry, the group provides extensive range of advanced copper and optical fiber cable solutions to infrastructure, industry and building markets.
Abu Dhabi, which represents 14% of total oil reserves in the Gulf region and 8% of the world’s known oil reserves, hosts the 12th ADIPEC exhibition to offer new horizons and provide french exhibitors and businessmen opportunities to share new technologies and innovations in oil and gas sector.
Accounting for most of UAE’s actual oil output, Abu Dhabi plans to raise oil production from 2.7 million bpd (2006) to 3.5 million bpd by 2012. Besides, over the next five years, an estimated investment of $5 billion is planned for new gas infrastructure.
