ALBAWABA- The death toll from US-Israeli airstrikes on the Bajil Cement Factory in Yemen’s Hodeida has risen to two, with at least 42 others wounded, local sources reported Monday.

The strikes hit key civilian infrastructure, including the factory and Hodeida’s vital Red Sea port, a humanitarian lifeline for more than 25 million Yemenis living under Houthi control.

In response, the Houthi movement vowed to expand its list of targets and launch qualitative strikes against Israel, citing the destruction of economic and civilian sites as acts of aggression.

Meanwhile, heavy US-led air raids continue across Yemen, with seven new strikes reported in al-Hazm, in the Al-Jawf governorate.

These developments follow a missile launched by the Houthis that struck near Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport on Sunday — the first such hit near the heart of Israel’s main air transit hub.

In retaliation, Israeli warplanes targeted Hodeida and surrounding areas, including cargo docks and a concrete plant east of the city.
