Today over 192 students received their certificates after completing their 4 week summer program ‘With Al Baik You Are the House Hero’. The program that commenced on the 15th of July 2006, lasted for a period of four weeks, was hosted at Jeddah Secondary Industrial Institute for boys. Students aged 12 to 18 year attended courses that the programs include Introduction to Workshop Basics, Car Maintenance, Electrical Basics and Safety, Plumbing Basics, First Aid Procedures, and Fire Safety and Prevention.
The graduation ceremony included an interactive show presented by the students which paid tribute to the new skills that they have acquired and conducted a live-demonstrated of the main projects they have worked on over the four week period which included car mechanics, electrical basics and First Aid procedures.
With over 1,000 students participating since its inception five years ago, the program aims to support the educational and social development of youth in the Kingdom by providing them opportunities for growth and skills development. The unique summer program allows participants to discover their hidden potential in performing simple handy jobs around the house.

As an incentive for excelling, the registration fee of SR 500 was fully refunded to approximately 90% of the students whose overall final scores in the program was 100% and only 10% of the students received a 90% score giving them a refund of SR 400 from their original registration fee. This unique and signature motivational tool is meant to encourage students to utilize their potential to the ultimate while enjoying the benefits of learning new skill sets, making them their own "house heroes".
