Turkey to Launch Military Operation in Afrin

Ankara announced on Thursday it would launch a military operation to tighten the noose on the city of Afrin in the Syrian Aleppo province and “cleanse” it from extremists.

Head of the Nationalist Movement Party Devlet Bahceli described Erdogan’s proposal on naturalizing refugees as “irresponsible” and a threat to “social peace.” (AFP)
