The Middle East is a multi-faceted mosaic of culture, language and people. But it's also a complex place.

That's why, whether with expats here or Arabs living in Europe or American, plenty of people would agree there's a certain set of dumb/offensive/plain ridiculous questions posed by foreigners.

Whether it's fetishizing the "exotic" or reassuring an Arab that you know they're not all terrorists, these often well-meaning words usually miss cultural suave they're after and soar straight into the downright obnoxious.

But in this video from Buzzfeed Australia, this whole process gets reversed. This time, it's the Lebanese-Australians posing the same questions to white Australians. Unsurprisingly, it's awesome.

In one scene, an Arab girl tells her date: "I love your pale skin... in fact, I think I may have a white girl fetish now."

It only gets better when she asks an American whether she's American or Canadian: "Don't get offended, it's all the same over there anyway! Trust me, I've been there."
