Saudi Oger wins renewal bid for Quran printing complex, offers to rehire fired employees

After given a five-year extension to run the King Fahd Complex for Qur’an Printing, Saudi Oger has begun negotiations to possibly re-employ over 1,300 employees fired last month- but with reduced salaries and benefits.

The termination notice came as a sudden shock to most of the employees who are struggling to make ends meet due to the delay in salaries and allowances over the past several months. (SPA)
