Yakuza Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth - gameplay trailer and release date
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth got both a gameplay and story trailer in RGG's livestream today with the addition of an unexpected character that will show up in the game.
Danny Trejo appeared in the trailer and fans immediately took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to voice their excitement about the unexpected casting of the actor who is mostly known for starring in Machete as the main character.
Trejo voices Dwight, the leader of a Hawaiian mafia group called the Barracudas who looks similar to the actor while Danny Dae Kim voices another character in the game called Masataka Ebina, a yakuza faction leader who we don't know much about yet.
Additionally, fans also got a closer look at Kiryu's new straight silver hairstyle.
Expect the game to be released on Jan. 26, 2024, on PC, PS5/ 4, and Xbox Series X/ S/ One!
The game is a direct sequel to Sega's 2020 Yakuza: Like a Dragon and will follow the story of Ex-Yakuza members Kasuga Ichiban and Kazuma Kiryu.
Kasuga goes to Hawaii in order to find his long-lost mother only to be welcomed by a Hawaiian mafia boss called Dwight. We got a more detailed look into the game's story and gameplay with the release of these two trailers:
