ALBAWABA - WNBA All-Star Liz Cambage recently made headlines after reports indicated that she made more money on the adult website OnlyFans than her entire basketball career sparking debate across social media about the pay gap between WNBA and NBA.

The matter in question triggered a series of questions from women on social media where they asked about the financial challenges women in WBNA face as athletes of the sport and why they seek different opportunities for a better life.

One user wrote, "Why the WNBA don’t be paying them women???" To which someone replied, "They get paid in accordance with the amount of fans they bring in," which doesn't seem to be a lot looking at the pay gap between Men's and Women's.

According to The Daily Mail, Liz Cambage parted ways with The Sparks back in 2022 to explore different opportunities including opening an OnlyFans account as mentioned above and signing a one-year deal for $170,000. Moreover, she also joined Maccabi Bnod Ashdod and China's SiChuan Yuanada where she currently plays.

In summary, the WBNBA All-Star earned more money on OnlyFans than in her entire basketball career, where reports indicate she's earning around $1.5 million annually from the adult website, compared to $221,450 during her highest-paid session in the WNBA.

Cambage states that she didn't only join OnlyFans to make a profit, but as a way to "express another side of herself" including fashion, art, and creativity.
