ALBAWABA - With millions and millions of people waiting for the release of the long-awaited GTA 6 trailer, Rockstar Games blessed fans with it after a surprise leak breaking records in viewership and likes on YouTube.
By the time of writing this article, the first trailer for the beloved franchise managed to get a whopping 40 million views and counting in its first seven hours of release and is currently "#1 on Trending for gaming" on YouTube!
Despite the trailer not showing much gameplay, the fandom of the franchise has been waiting for any kind of news on GTA 6 since 2022 when a group of hackers leaked work-in-progress gameplay.

The trailer showcases the two main protagonists of GTA 6 Lucia alongside an unnamed male lead who are in a relationship filled with love and crime. Additionally, Rockstar is bringing back our favorite city in the franchise, Vice City which is the Grand Theft Auto version of America's Miami.
Tom Petty is featured as the artist for the song in the trailer called " Love Is A Long Road" which complements the visuals excellently.
GTA 6 trailer breaks YouTube records!
A user on X (formerly known as Twitter) called 'NikTekOfficial' took to his official account to celebrate the release of the game and added:
"Rockstar has not only broken the world record for the most amount of Video views in less than 1 hour, they've also broken the world record for the biggest amount of likes in YouTube history."
Yes, the most-liked video on YouTube has 51 million likes, but take in mind that the GTA 6 trailer broke YouTube records by getting more than two million likes in the first hour only!
By the time of writing this article, the trailer has already garnered around six million likes which we are positive will increase with time.
When is GTA 6 coming?
