ALBAWABA - Lebanese singer Fares Karam sparked widespread controversy on social media after he revealed he was prepared to "kill" his children for his mother.
During his appearance on the show "Nishan X" with Lebanese TV host Nishan, Karam spoke for the first time about his divorce from Heba Aziz and his deep attachment to his mother, sister, and late father.
Karam said, "I'm ready to sacrifice my children for my mother. She's incomparable to anyone in the universe, except perhaps the Virgin Mary. My mother is a saint, and I take care of her and bathe her myself."

Fares Karam: My Ex-wife asked for $1 million for divorce
Speaking about his divorce from his ex-wife, Heba Aziz, Fares Karam said, "Fatherhood broke me, and I wish I had remained single."
The singer also added that she treated him like an ATM, demanding a $1 million settlement from her after the divorce.
The Lebanese artist also spoke about his memories of his late father, revealing that he considered killing him during his illness to end his suffering from bone cancer. He said, "I kept increasing his morphine dosage, hoping to kill him and relieve him of his pain."
