ALBAWABA - Akira Toriyama and Toei Animation's upcoming fall 2024 anime Dragon Ball Daima just received a new character trailer showcasing more of young Goku's adorable design through several animation sequences.
According to Anime News Network, the trailer was revealed during the Dragon Ball Games Hour Event on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024. In addition to Goku's character design, Toei shared a post with Goku and his best friend Krillin as kids.
Dragon Ball Daima receives a new Goku trailer and release date!
The anime will air in the fall of 2024, we speculate that Daima will hit streaming platforms around September 2024 as that's when the fall season starts airing shows. Moreover, the iconic Masako Nozawa is returning to voice Goku! The designs are best described as a modern take on Toriyama (the man behind the whole franchise) and Toei's first Dragon Ball anime which first aired in 1986 and manga!
Dragon Ball daima is an upcoming anime that tells a new story of Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and more who suddenly appear younger than usual, similar to GT as Goku changes back into a kid after the end of the original series.

According to Anime News Network, the term "DAIMA" doesn't mean anything but could be interpreted as "Evil" in Japanese Kanji.
A list of all the staff for the upcoming Dragon Ball DAIMA:
- Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki as animation directors (Dragon Ball Super, Digimon franchise, One Piece).
- Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru will be adapting Toriyama's character design work into animation.
- Akira Toriyama on story and character design.
