BlueTwelve Studio's Stray gets an animated movie!
"This is a game that's all about what makes us human, and there are no humans in it."
Robert also passionately conveyed his team's deep desire to capture Stray's emotion when adapting it to a movie and described the game as having a "sort of 'hope-punk' vibe," which means, optimism is a form of resistance.
We still have no news about the film's release date or a trailer in the near future.
What makes Stray special?
Similar to Untitled Goose Game, Stray gives players the opportunity to experience the world through an adorable cat's perspective, hopping from one location to another, passing through spaces where a human would never fit, scratching rugs, napping, and walking on a computer's keyboard.
The game doesn't follow a cliched story of a protagonist and their mission to save the world but instead, it takes a unique approach by casting players in the role of a lost cat, driven by the wholesome mission of reuniting with its family.
