If you had your heart set on seeing Amr Diab at his cancelled Dubai International Film Festival opening night concert on December 16, you’ll have to wait even longer to see him now. According to organisers, the superstar has rescheduled the show for January 17 at Shaikh Rashid Hall at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Lucid Events told Gulf News' tabloid! that Diab’s Diff cancellation was “out of his control”, and said that there were problems with having the concert at Burj Park, but that it was not Diab himself who decided to axe the performance. That's good to know!
Diab is an incredible musician who made waves worldwide in the Egyptian, Arab and global pop music scene. He is the best-selling Middle Eastern artist with over 30 years of hit-making under his belt.
His upcoming performance, supported by group Jandal, is 21+ only. Doors open at 7pm.
