Discovering soaps instead of expensive phones from online delivery parcels are not uncommon. But one man in Odisha, India, had a shock of his life when he found a live cobra inside his courier parcel instead of groceries.
The viral video on Twitter shows the 5.5-feet-long snake being tackled by the snake rescue team of the forest department.
According to reports in Hindustan Times, a man named Mrityu Kumar from Mayurbhanj in Odisha had reportedly placed an order for groceries which arrived in a sealed box through a courier service.

Unaware of what it consisted, when Kumar opened the box, he was shocked to find a live cobra inside.
While according to local reports, a rat managed to enter the box to eat grocery items inside the parcel box. Surprisingly, the snake entered the box through the same hole, local reports added.
One Twitter user wrote: 'It must be a 'sarp-rise' for that guy', while another Twitter user wrote: 'Just get a ladder and start playing, human'.
The cobra was eventually rescued and released in a forest close by.
