An investigation is underway to determine the reason behind the suicide.
A man committed suicide on Sunday morning, the police said in a statement issued today.
According to the statement posted online, the man hanged himself from a footbridge on the Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum (Airport) road.
The police added that the Command and Control Centre was informed about the incident at 11:19am.
