An expat was arrested for attempting to smuggle 84 capsules of heroin inside his body, the Royal Oman Police has announced.
The anti-narcotics department of Al Wusta police foiled the attempt to smuggle narcotic substances.
According to the Royal Oman Police, “The Al Wusta police force represented by the anti-narcotics department arrested an Asian national on charges of possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of trafficking.”
"The suspect was arrested in wilayat Hima. 84 capsules containing heroin were found inside him,” added the police.
